Vision
A just and inclusive society where women, girls, and children live with dignity, safety, and equal rights.
Mission
NewBeginnings Charitable Trust advances the rights of women, girls, and children in vulnerable rural communities by building gender-inclusive systems through education, economic security, health and dignity, and climate-resilient livelihoods.
Our Approach
Rooted in Rights, Guided by Reality
We work from a rights-based perspective, ensuring that access to education, safety, health, and livelihoods is not treated as charity, but as a fundamental right. At the same time, our interventions are shaped by the everyday realities families face—poverty, migration, social exclusion, and climate stress—so solutions remain practical and relevant.
Education as the Foundation for Change
We place education at the centre of our approach, especially for girls, as the most powerful tool to prevent child marriage, child labour, trafficking, and intergenerational poverty. Through sponsorship, school support, bridge education, life skills, and community engagement, we help children stay in school, and families value learning as a pathway to dignity and opportunity.
Empowering Women and Strengthening Families
We work with women not only as beneficiaries, but as leaders of change. Through skills training, financial literacy, health awareness, and rights education, we support women to build economic security, make informed choices, and strengthen their families and communities.
Community-Led Protection and Social Change
Lasting change cannot be imposed from outside. We invest in community-based systems such as Child Protection Committees, youth groups, and dialogue platforms that promote shared responsibility, challenge harmful norms, and create safer environments for women and children. Men and boys are actively engaged as partners in this process.
Livelihoods and Climate Resilience
Our target regions are affected by drought and environmental stress, and livelihoods are central to stability. We promote natural farming and climate-resilient practices that help families secure income, reduce distress migration, and protect food security—while caring for the land they depend on.
Learning, Accountability, and Trust
We continuously listen, learn, and adapt. Our programs evolve through community feedback, reflection, and evidence from the field, ensuring that our work remains responsive, accountable, and impactful over time.
With the integrated and people-centred approach, NCT works to build communities where women, girls, and children can live with dignity, safety, and equal rights.
